    Alternative to Keto

Is there a diet as effective as keto at burning fat that dosent require fat all of the time? I feel that it slows me down and makes me sluggish. (despite if im in ketosis or not) Thanks

I would do a healthy diet I am not saying keto isn't but I will say that no carbs isn't healthy.

Switch your carb source from simple to complex so from (Sugary to Wheat/oats)

Eat 6 balenced meals a day 40/40/20 carb/protein/fat is what I like because of how much I lift, and only drink water

I would start to feel out how much cals you need I for instance need about 4k a day to gain muscle.

    Foods to consider:
    Eggs
    Oats (my main carb source)
    Brown Rice
Lean grilled meats (Fish, Chicken, Ground beef)
    Veggies
    WHey shake

This diet w/exersize has allowed me to drastically alter my body and hopefully it will for you as well. Carbs are your friend if you time them correctly and learn what type of carbs to eat when

Keto doesn't necessarily mean no carbs, I eat around 30 grams a day of carbs and I can say that am not sluggish by any means. If you feel sluggish it could be because you are not eating enough fats in the keto diet which since carbs are highly restricted (not eliminated) that is the next major source of energy.

Keto rocks but I guess it is not for everybody.
