    155lb diet help

Does anyone else feel like it takes a ton of food to hit 2400-3000 kcals/day? Eggs are only ~100kcal each, oatmeal is ~400, etc. I feel like I need to eat so much to reach my goal. I'm 22, ~156lbs, trying to get to ~165lb now and going to the gym every 2 days or so.

I don't think this is in the right place. But, try calorie dense food like nuts and peanut butter.

OP, ignore her ^^^^ advice. There is a reason her rep is "red". Horrible advice throughout her posts, such as telling people to avoid peanut butter because of fungal issues. Similarly, her advice to only have rest periods of 30-60 seconds between sets is ludicrous.

hii First of all you have to calculate your bmr and maintenance calories. Then you have to check your activity level according to that you have to keep your calories in mind. For gaining muscles you have to start from maintenance calories or surplus according to your mind set. So lets say you are going to consume 2000 calories a day then you have to distribute your macronutrients . 1gm protein - 4cal, 1gm fats- 9cal, 1gm carbs- 4cal. So keeping this in mind you have to adjust all three in 2000 calories. Keep protein 1g/lb. Now you do the math. I hope this helped you . Thank you
